What is GenBank-Improvised?
GenBank-Improvised is a project by students at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore as part of the iGEM competition. We aim to make navigating genetic sequence databases easier, faster, and more intuitive for researchers.
Our Mission
Many biologists struggle with GenBank’s complexity. Our interface is designed to bridge the gap between powerful bioinformatics data and modern usability.
What We Offer
- Improved Search & Navigation — Quickly find sequences you need.
- Interactive Visualizations — Graphical views of features and annotations.
- Curated Insights — Highlights, summaries, and links to related studies.
- Clean UI — Minimalist design that doesn’t compromise on depth.
Acknowledgments
This project is part of iGEM IISc Bangalore. We thank our mentors, collaborators, and the iGEM community.
